OK, Week 6 Picks it is!

| New York Giants (+8) at Chicago Bears, 47 Safe bet is on Chicago, holding NO to 26 is an encouraging sign they can take care of the Giants. I see this one looking like Chicago not able cover the +8 for a good portion of the game but end up finding a way to resist the Giants late rally and putting up insurance points to ensure the spread! Chicago, Over Sunday Oakland Raiders (+9) at Kansas City Chiefs, 40.5 I'm going with Oakland covering the spread on this one. Very confident in the Chiefs winning, but I'm almost as confident that the Raiders will not let this get out of hand and they will definitely make the Chiefs play hard for a win. I'm at 95% Chiefs win, 75-80% Raiders cover the spread on this one! A match up I'm certainly intrigued by! Oakland, Over Philadelphia Eagles (-1) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 46 Bad matchup for the Buccs to get a win under their belt this week. Philly can stop the run well enough to contain the Buccs and find a way to pull this one out. Philly, Under Green Bay Packers (-3) at Baltimore Ravens, 48 Statement game for the Ravens. Ravens D vs Packers O will decide this one and Ravens will put together a better team effort to pull out a W. Baltimore, Over Detroit Lions (-2.5) at Cleveland Browns, 45.5 Cleveland continues its streak. For real, for now. After a poor performance vs. GB I'm not sure the Lions can be invested in this game enough to take care of a anxious Cleveland squad. Cleveland, Under Carolina Panthers (+2.5) at Minnesota Vikings, 44 Urgency is an issue with the Panthers right now; its show and prove time. For this week, I see enough to take care of the Vikings. Carolina will contain the Vikings, and Carolina's offense can find their way with the Vikings defense. However, The Vikings have some of the biggest "big play" potential in the league that is definitely noteworthy of in this game, as a big play or 2 from Peterson, Patterson, or a handful of other weapons can really make this game tricky. Carolina, Over St. Louis Rams (+7) at Houston Texans, 43 Don't think that STL is operating well enough right now to give Houston a serious run for this game. I also think Schaub plays a good game with a conservative style. For now he can hold the position of quarterbacking this team. It'll be a whole different scenario later in the season, but for now I see the Texans having a better chance in this one Houston, Under Pittsburgh Steelers (+1) at New York Jets, 40.5 Very, very intriguing matchup for these teams in this position at this time in the year. This game has alot of possible outcomes to it. How do I see it? Well, hmmm. Steelers get ahead early, but Jets catch fire later. How does it go after that? 60 40 Pittsburgh for this one! Pittsburgh, Under Cincinnati Bengals (-7.5) at Buffalo Bills, 42 Bills taking a few weeks off here. Bengals pull away late. Not too much stock in this one but it will give many players on both teams an opportunity for playing time! Bengals, Under Tennessee Titans (+13.5) at Seattle Seahawks, 40.5 Seattle wins, but I see the Titans playing with enough to not lose this one by two td's. More likely than not this is actually going to happen, but I'm gonna go with it! Tennessee, Over Jacksonville Jaguars (+26.5) at Denver Broncos, 53 Ya know what, I'm going Jags on this one. They've kept their fair share of QB's in check this year, and I think they can the Denver O in this game from going berzerk and hopefully putting up enough points to cover the spread. I'm sticking with Jacksonville if the spread isn't under 25 by gametime. Jacksonville, Under Arizona Cardinals (+11) at San Francisco 49ers, 41.5 One of those games where San Fran plays irritated and finds a way to make this out of reach. 11 tho.. ehh.. they squeak by on that one. San Fran,Under New Orleans Saints (+.5) at New England Patriots, 49.5 Saints take this one, in a respectable handy fashion. Too much going right on all cylinders for the Saints to let the Pats or right now stop them. New Orleans, Over Washington Redskins (+5.5) at Dallas Cowboys, 53 Redskins will be in this one until late in the 4th but too many holes in the defense will be their downfall =[ Really want them to win this one though! Dallas, Over Monday Indianapolis Colts (-1.5) at San Diego Chargers, 49 Colts!! Phillip Rivers passes his torch of a respectable career in honor of Andrew Luck. Whatever that mean lol but I see the Colts having more than the Chargers in this one. |
